Welcome to SocialPendo.com, a dating platform designed to help people connect, build relationships, and meet new people especially across Kenya and the greater East African region. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website and services. By registering for SocialPendo.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

  1. Introduction

By accessing or using SocialPendo.com platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use or access the website.

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  1. Eligibility

To use SocialPendo.com, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Not be prohibited from using our services under the laws of Kenya or any other applicable jurisdiction.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you do not, you must not access or use our services.

  1. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information.

By registering:

  • You agree to maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate and complete.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You agree not to share your account or login information with others.

If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately at hello@socialpendo.com

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are found to contain false or misleading information.

  1. User Conduct

As a user of SocialPendo.com, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You agree that you will not:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or exploitation.
  • Post or share any content that is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or pornographic.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations.
  • Solicit passwords or personal identifying information from other users.
  • Send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited messages.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform or its servers.
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the platform.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent removal of your account, without prior notice.

Your privacy is important to us. By using SocialPendo.com, you agree to our collection, use, and sharing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key highlights include:

  1. Subscription and Payments

SocialPendo.com offers both free and premium membership plans. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the following:

  • Payment must be made in full, in advance, using mobile money (M-Pesa
  • Premium features may include unlimited messaging, profile boosts, priority support, and access to exclusive matches.
  • Subscriptions are auto-renewed unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • You can manage your subscription settings in your account dashboard.
  • No refunds are provided for unused time, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction unless required by law.

We may update our pricing or features at any time. Users will be notified in advance of any material changes.

  1. Termination

SocialPendo.com reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Engaging in harmful, abusive, or illegal behavior.
  • Creating multiple or fraudulent accounts.
  • Using the platform for commercial or promotional purposes without authorization.

You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:

  • Your profile and data may be permanently deleted.
  • Any unused subscription time will not be refunded unless required by applicable law.
  • We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal disputes).
  1. Limitation of Liability

SocialPendo.com provides the platform “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we do not guarantee:

  • That the platform will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
  • That you will find a compatible match or form any meaningful relationship.
  • The accuracy, reliability, or truthfulness of user profiles or content.

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, SocialPendo.com and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • Damages resulting from user conduct, third-party services, or any unauthorized access to your data.
  • Loss of profits, data, or emotional distress arising from connections made or failed on the platform.

You use the platform at your own risk.

  1. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with SocialPendo.com, we encourage you to first contact our support team to resolve the issue informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the following will apply:

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
  • Jurisdiction: You agree that any legal disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
  • Arbitration Option: At our discretion, certain disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in Kenya in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Cap. 49).
  • No Class Actions: You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and not as part of any class or representative action.
  • We do NOT Allow meeting.  We do not allow people to ask money from each other nor meet. The platform is meant for social chatting just like facebook and Instagram. It was derived from Social Pendo meaning interacting with each other on social media with love.
  • Tours and Classifications: they are meant to enjoy trips, but it should be permitted by our authorities any communication outside our platform is not encouraged and the platform is not liable for any activity done outside without its knowledge.
  1. Modifications to Terms

SocialPendo.com reserves the right to revise, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do:

We will post the updated version on our website with the “Last Updated” date.

We may notify you through email or in-app notifications, especially if changes are significant.

Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform and close your account.
